Congratulates Brattleboro Memorial Hospital on its 120th anniversary, celebrated on October 25, 2024

Hospital was established in 1904 using $100,000 from the Thompson trust, originally intended for sewing women in Brattleboro, with surplus funds directed to charitable purposes by Massachusetts probate court

Originally opened as a 37-bed facility with a nursing training program on the George Hall estate (the Hemlocks), incorporated by the General Assembly through 1904 Acts and Resolves No. 277

Currently licensed for 61 beds with over 600 staff; recognized by the Lown Institute as the top Vermont hospital for Social Responsibility, Health Equity, and Community Benefit

Directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital
