Adopts temporary Senate Rule 9B allowing Senators to participate, debate, and vote electronically during in-person sessions under specific emergency circumstances

Permits remote participation when a Senator has tested positive for COVID-19, has symptoms awaiting test results, or is caring for a household member in isolation

Allows electronic participation for temporary health or care emergencies unrelated to COVID-19, limited to 2 consecutive days unless the Rules Committee approves an extension

Temporary rule expires on Tuesday, March 11, 2025
