Requirements apply to advertising within Washington State or originating from Washington to any other state

Violations carry civil penalties up to $10,000 per violation, enforceable by city attorneys, county prosecutors, or the state attorney general

Takes effect July 1, 2025, with emergency clause declaring the act necessary for public welfare
