Requires developers of generative AI systems available to Washington residents to publicly post documentation about training data on their website by January 1, 2026, covering systems released on or after January 1, 2022

Mandates disclosure of dataset details including sources/owners, number of data points, whether data was purchased or publicly available, inclusion of personal information, and any cleaning or modifications performed

Exempts AI systems developed solely for security/integrity purposes, aircraft operations in national airspace, or national security/military/defense purposes available only to federal entities

Establishes civil penalty of $5,000 per day for violations, enforced by the Attorney General through civil action

Provides developers a 45-day cure period after receiving notice of alleged violations before the Attorney General may file suit
