Amends RCW 18.225.060 to modify membership requirements for the Washington State Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Workers Advisory Committee

Expands eligibility for one committee seat to allow either a licensed advanced social worker or a licensed independent clinical social worker to serve, where previously only licensed advanced social workers qualified

Clarifies that committee members cannot hold governing office or board positions in professional associations for mental health, social work, or marriage and family therapy

Passed unanimously in both chambers (House 96-0 on February 6, 2025; Senate 49-0 on March 26, 2025) with an effective date of July 27, 2025
