Public works projects receiving more than $500,000 in state capital funds or financed through state financing contracts must use iron, steel, aluminum, and manufactured products made in the United States

"Manufactured in the United States" requires iron and steel products to complete all manufacturing processes domestically, and manufactured products must contain greater than 55% domestic components by cost

Waivers may be granted if domestic requirements conflict with public interest, materials are unavailable domestically in sufficient quantity or quality, or domestic sourcing would increase project costs by more than 25%

Contractors who intentionally affix false "Made in America" labels or misrepresent product origins face debarment from future public works contracts, with disputes referred to the Department of Labor and Industries for binding arbitration

Any provisions conflicting with federal funding requirements are inoperative to the extent of the conflict, preserving the state's ability to receive federal funds
