Health carriers may be required by the Insurance Commissioner to annually report primary care expenditures for previous calendar years and anticipated expenditures for upcoming calendar years

The Commissioner has authority to determine the form and content of primary care expenditure reporting requirements

Reporting requirements must consider primary care expenditure definitions and targets established under RCW 70.390.080, as well as reporting systems used by the Health Care Authority for Medicaid and state employee benefits

Primary care expenditure reports submitted by health carriers are designated as public information
