Extends the expiration date for timber purchase reporting requirements from September 30, 2025 to September 30, 2029

Requires purchasers of privately owned timber exceeding 200,000 board feet to report purchase details to the department by the last day of the following month

Reports must include purchaser and seller information, sale price, legal description, acreage, estimated timber volume by species and log grade, and property improvements

Failure to report may result in a penalty of $250 per violation

Passed unanimously in both chambers (House 93-0, Senate 48-0) and takes effect July 27, 2025
