Suspends annual bonuses for teachers with National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification for four school years: 2025-26, 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29

Base bonus currently set at $5,000 (established in 2007-08) with annual inflation adjustments, except previously frozen during 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years

Additional $5,000 bonus for National Board certified teachers working in high-poverty schools (at least 70% of students qualifying for free and reduced-price lunch) also suspended during the four-year period

Bonuses are separate from district salary schedules and paid as lump sum amounts
