Department of Health must contract with a training entity to deliver age-appropriate cancer education programs to students in grades 6-12, with school district participation being voluntary

Programs designed as single 50-75 minute sessions covering cancer prevention, risk reduction, and social/emotional resources, adaptable to assemblies, individual classes, or multiple sessions

Contracted training entity must have demonstrated experience delivering cancer education to Washington youth and must use funds to expand beyond 2023-24 program levels with geographic, racial/ethnic diversity and Spanish-language options

Selected entity may subcontract with others to meet demand and deliver Spanish-language programs, with subcontractors held to same standards

Department must submit report to governor and legislature by December 1, 2027 on program delivery, student participation demographics, and Spanish-language offerings
