Increases minimum enclosure interior height from 6 inches to 12 inches above the tallest dog's head, and expands minimum enclosure size from 3 times to 5 times the length and width of the longest dog

Doubles daily exercise requirements from one hour in one period to two hours across two periods for dogs over four months kept in enclosures

Violations constitute a gross misdemeanor; exemptions apply to animal shelters, humane societies, veterinary facilities, retail pet stores, research institutions, boarding facilities, and grooming facilities
