Grants the office concurrent jurisdiction with county prosecutors to investigate and prosecute deadly force cases, with courts resolving competing charges based on which prosecution best serves justice and ensures an impartial trial free from bias

Requires public written reports explaining reasons when the independent prosecutor declines to file charges in fatal use of deadly force cases, to be posted on a public website

Expands the advisory board from 11 to 13 members, adding one additional family-impacted representative and one additional prosecuting attorney representative
