Removes the requirement that donated prescription drugs must have more than six months remaining before expiration, replacing it with a requirement that drugs simply be unexpired at donation time with sufficient time remaining for use by another individual

Amends RCW 69.70.050 governing Washington's prescription drug donation program, which allows pharmacies to accept and redistribute unused medications to eligible individuals

Maintains existing safety requirements including original sealed/tamper-evident packaging, pharmacist inspection for adulteration or misbranding, and compliance with recall procedures

Donated prescription drugs and supplies cannot be resold and are not eligible for reimbursement from public or private health care payers
