Allows the state administrator to waive standard claim filing requirements and deliver unclaimed property directly to local governments when the administrator determines a local government is the apparent owner and reasonably believes they are entitled to the property

Requires the administrator to annually notify local governments of any unclaimed property identified as belonging to them, including property description, value, and any associated conditions or restrictions

Permits the administrator to request additional documentation from local governments to verify their entitlement to the property

Amends RCW 63.30.530 governing unclaimed property claims procedures

Takes effect January 1, 2026
