WA HB2002

Establishes a crime firearm reward program offering up to $500 for information leading to recovery of a firearm used in a felony offense, or up to $5,000 if the offense resulted in a criminal conviction

Excludes law enforcement officers, persons with outstanding warrants, and government employees obtaining information through their employment from receiving rewards

Requires cities and counties to pay rewards from county and municipal criminal justice assistance accounts

Amends RCW 82.14.310, 82.14.320, and 82.14.330 to explicitly authorize use of criminal justice assistance funds for these reward payments

Adds reward payments to the definition of "criminal justice purposes" for which distributed funds may be expended
