Creates new crime of "false identification as a peace officer" for making, providing, or possessing fake law enforcement badges, cards, insignia, or vehicles, or misrepresenting objects as law enforcement property

Classified as a gross misdemeanor under RCW chapter 9A.60

Prohibits items containing words like "police," "sheriff," "constable," "marshal," "trooper," or federal law enforcement agency titles when used to falsely identify someone as an officer

Provides defenses for items clearly marked as honorary or reserve officer designations, posse membership, or items made when the person was actually commissioned

Exempts depictions of law enforcement for cultural, historical, political, religious, educational, newsworthy, or artistic purposes including satire and parody
