Amends the definition of "fetal death" in Washington's vital statistics law (RCW 70.58A.010) to change how gestational age is calculated for reporting purposes

Replaces the previous method of calculating gestational age from the last menstrual period to the date of expulsion/extraction with a new standard based on "the best clinically accurate gestational age" at the date of death

Fetal death reporting threshold remains unchanged: pregnancies of 20 or more weeks gestation, or weighing 350 grams or more if gestational age is unknown

Section 1 expires June 30, 2027, and Section 2 takes effect June 30, 2027 to coordinate with a separate 2025 amendment (c 58 s 5138) to the same statute
