Nonferrous metal property valued at $50 or more must be retained in original form for at least 10 days from purchase date, with multiple transactions within 24 hours from the same seller or vehicle aggregated

Creates a Critical Infrastructure Crime Reduction Unit within the Attorney General's office to assist local law enforcement and prosecutors with metal theft and vandalism cases affecting critical infrastructure

Establishes the Critical Infrastructure Crime Reduction Account in the state treasury to fund the new unit through legislative appropriations, donations, grants, and federal or private sources
