Directs the Department of Agriculture to develop a statewide food security strategy to end hunger, reduce diet-related health disparities, and increase agricultural viability and supply chain resilience, due to the legislature by December 1, 2027

Requires the Department of Agriculture to convene multiple state agencies including OSPI, Department of Health, DSHS, and universities, along with tribes and nonprofit hunger relief organizations, to develop the strategy

Mandates the strategy define food security metrics across three key areas: agricultural viability, supply chain resilience, and food access, with annually updated data on state and federal hunger safety net investments

Expands the Director of Agriculture's statutory duties to include monitoring food system performance and coordinating statewide food security with state, local, federal, and tribal partners

Strategy development provisions expire July 1, 2028
