Extends existing substance use disorder monitoring program protections to nursing assistants (credentialed under chapter 18.88A RCW) in addition to nurses already covered under the law

Prohibits the department or board from posting enforcement actions on public websites when a credentialed individual has complied with board-ordered substance use disorder monitoring program requirements

Expands eligibility for the stipend program (covering up to 80% of out-of-pocket treatment expenses) to include nursing assistants holding active, inactive, or suspended credentials

Eligible expenses include substance use evaluation, treatment, drug testing, and professional peer support groups

Effective date: July 1, 2026
