Office of Equity must develop a proposal by December 1, 2027 to address statewide shortages of qualified spoken and sign language interpreters and translators, with emphasis on languages of lesser diffusion and rural areas

Covers communication in an individual's primary language including signed languages, delivered through oral, audio, written, tactile, or visual formats

Does not create new rights or remedies beyond existing state law; affirms current protections against discrimination based on national origin, language, disability, or other protected class
