Prohibits the state nursing board from requiring nursing education programs to meet standards beyond those required for national accreditation or to produce alignment studies if already nationally accredited

Requires the board to provide technical assistance to nursing programs with NCLEX pass rates below 80 percent and to expedite approval of new programs at institutions with existing accredited nursing programs

Limits clinical simulation certification requirements to only the simulation director and lead nurse educator, rather than all faculty

Allows the board to require continued professional development for nurse educators only if appropriations or adequate resources are available

Permits the board to request corrective action plans submitted to national accreditation bodies but prohibits requiring additional corrective measures beyond what national accreditors determine
