Creates a joint legislative task force on reducing regulatory stress for agricultural producers, building on a 2025 work group report that identified regulatory challenges as a stressor affecting mental health in the farming community

Task force membership includes 4 legislators (one from each major caucus in both chambers) plus designees from 8 state agencies: Agriculture, Commerce, Ecology, Public Lands, Fish and Wildlife, Regulatory Innovation and Assistance, Health, and Labor and Industries

Reviews regulations in four specific areas: land use and zoning, stewardship of water resources, grazing rights, and pesticides

Findings and recommendations due to the legislature by November 1, 2028; task force expires June 30, 2029

Staff support provided by Senate Committee Services and House Office of Program Research; legislative members receive travel reimbursement per existing state law
