Certificated employees, classified employees, and school contractors must immediately report to law enforcement and school administrators if they have knowledge or cause to believe an assault, theft, or destruction of property has occurred or will occur on school district property

Reporting requirement applies in addition to any other existing notification requirements under current education law

Requirement applies equally to traditional public school districts, charter schools established under chapter 28A.710 RCW, and state-tribal education compact schools under chapter 28A.715 RCW

Adds a new section to chapter 28A.320 RCW governing school district operations
