Executive Rules Committee may assign bills, memorials, resolutions, and subject matters to House committees for interim study, while the Speaker may create special and select committees with Executive Rules Committee approval

Members participating remotely in interim committee meetings count as present for quorum and voting purposes, except during Committee Assembly Days under House Rule 17

Authorized committees receive subpoena power, power to administer oaths, and power to issue witness examination commissions under chapter 44.16 RCW when specifically authorized by the Executive Rules Committee

Chief Clerk shall complete work of the 2025 Regular Session of the Sixty-Ninth Legislature, approve member expense vouchers at established per diem and mileage rates, and retain or hire necessary employees and order supplies during the interim

Resolution applies throughout the interim between sessions of the Sixty-Ninth Legislature and during any committee assembly
