House Resolution 4707 honors Dr. Paul R. Yost for his contributions to industrial-organizational psychology as Associate Professor and Director of Industrial-Organizational Psychology Applied Learning and Development at Seattle Pacific University

Dr. Yost earned his B.A. from Seattle Pacific University (1987), M.A. from University of Maryland (1992), and Ph.D. from University of Maryland (1996), and has served at Seattle Pacific University since 1999

His research focuses on strategic talent management, leadership development, change management, work-faith integration, and organizational strategy, with prior private sector experience in technology and aerospace industries

Dr. Yost has served as a project consultant for Pivot Northwest Research and is a published author of scholarly works in his field

Resolution adopted by the House of Representatives on March 2, 2026, with a copy to be presented to Dr. Yost in recognition of his achievements
