Increases the percentage of prearrangement funeral service contract funds that funeral establishments may retain from 10% to 20% of the cash purchase price (excluding sales tax)

Reduces the required trust deposit from 90% to 80% of the cash purchase price for prearrangement funeral service contracts

Adds a new definition for "transportation protection agreement" covering coordination and transportation of human remains or cremated remains

Exempts funeral merchandise delivered within 30 days of sale and transportation protection agreements from trust deposit requirements

Maintains existing consumer protections including full refund within 30 days of signing and the right to demand refund of trust amounts for revocable contracts
