Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee must conduct a review of Washington's riparian programs, with a preliminary report due December 1, 2025, and final report due June 1, 2027

Review must include a comprehensive list of funded riparian programs, identifying eligible entities, local match requirements, maximum grant amounts, current and recent funding levels, and effectiveness assessments

Report must provide recommendations on continuing, enhancing, consolidating, or eliminating programs to improve funding access, reduce administrative burdens, and increase program effectiveness

Section expires July 1, 2028
