Department of Fish and Wildlife must establish a three-year pilot program allowing livestock owners, their immediate family members, agents, or documented employees to kill the first wolf that returns to a livestock predation site

Any wolf killed under this authority must be reported to the department within 24 hours, and the carcass must be surrendered to the department

Amends RCW 77.15.120 to create an exception to the unlawful taking of endangered fish or wildlife statute for wolves killed consistent with this pilot program

Department must report to the legislature on the pilot program's effectiveness by December 1, 2028

The act expires July 1, 2029
