Requires mobility device manufacturers to provide documentation, parts, embedded software, firmware, and tools to independent repair providers and device owners on fair and reasonable terms, effective July 27, 2025

Covers power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and power assist devices for manual wheelchairs used by people with physical disabilities

Documentation and tools must be provided at no charge (except reasonable costs for physical copies); parts must be offered at terms equivalent to what authorized repair providers receive

Independent repair providers must give consumers written notice that they are not authorized by the manufacturer and disclose whether they use non-manufacturer parts

Violations are enforceable solely by the Washington Attorney General under the Consumer Protection Act (chapter 19.86 RCW)
