All Washington school districts must ensure each school is supplied with an operating pulse oximeter kept in an easily accessible location for asthma or anaphylaxis emergencies

Persons who use a pulse oximeter at the scene of an emergency and others providing services under this section receive civil liability immunity for personal injuries resulting from use of the device

The immunity protection does not apply if acts or omissions constitute gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct

Amends existing RCW 28A.210.370, which already requires school districts to adopt asthma rescue procedures, provide staff in-service training, and allow student self-administration of asthma/anaphylaxis medication
