Criminal Justice Training Commission required to establish a new regional training academy in the largest city within a county with population greater than 300,000 persons

Minimum of two basic law enforcement academy classes must be provided annually at the new regional location, beginning in fiscal year 2026, in addition to existing classes

Commission must schedule classes to minimize wait times and report average student wait times to the legislature annually in December

$5,000,000 appropriated from the general fund for fiscal year ending June 30, 2027 to fund the program

Provisions expire July 1, 2045
