Amends 30+ sections of the Revised Code of Washington to update terminology following reorganization at the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)

Replaces references to "developmental disabilities administration" and "aging and long-term support administration" with updated language referring to the "home and community living administration" or "department" as the component providing services to eligible persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities under Title 71A RCW

Removes references to the "behavioral health administration" as a separate entity within DSHS in provisions related to public defense services and record-sharing

Makes conforming changes across multiple policy areas including kinship care, competency evaluations, dependency proceedings, dementia services, permanent supportive housing, developmental disabilities ombuds, adult family homes, and long-term care services

Takes effect July 1, 2026
