Reduces the deadline for coordination of benefits-related refund requests from 30 months to 9 months after payment was made

Eliminates separate longer timelines that previously existed for mental health and substance use disorder services, applying the same shortened deadlines to all health care services

Requires carriers to wait at least 6 months after a provider receives a contested refund request before demanding payment

Effective date: January 1, 2027
