Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee (JLARC) must annually report to the legislature on state and local sales and use tax collections from in-state sales of vehicles subject to advanced clean trucks regulations

Reports must include annual vehicle sales compared to prior years, tax collection changes attributable to the regulations, price comparisons between regulated and non-regulated vehicles, and analysis of consumer behavior changes

JLARC must consult with the Department of Revenue and Department of Licensing, which are required to provide necessary data for the reports

First report due June 1, 2027, with annual reports continuing through June 1, 2035; the reporting requirement expires June 1, 2036

"Advanced clean trucks regulations" refers to California regulations (Cal. Code Regs. tit. 13, Secs. 1963-1963.5) adopted by reference by Washington's Department of Ecology
