Juveniles who possess firearms after a prior adjudication for unlawful firearm possession (under RCW 9.41.040(2)(a)(v) or comparable out-of-state offense) would be charged with unlawful possession of a firearm in the first degree, a class B felony

Amends the juvenile sentencing grid to add a new offense category "B+" for possession of firearms by a minor with a prior adjudication, with a sentencing attempt category of C+

First-time juvenile firearm possession remains a category C offense under current law; the bill creates enhanced penalties specifically for repeat juvenile firearm offenders

Applies to juveniles who own, access, have custody or control of, or receive any firearm following a prior firearm-related adjudication, conviction, or finding of not guilty by reason of insanity
