Persons 21 years of age or older may legally produce and possess up to 6 cannabis plants per person on the premises of their housing unit, with a maximum of 15 plants per household regardless of the number of residents

Plants and cannabis products must not be visible from ordinary public view or produce odors detectable from public places or neighboring properties; violations constitute a class 3 civil infraction

Producing 7-15 plants is a class 1 civil infraction; producing 16 or more plants is a class C felony

Cannabis concentrates or infused products must be processed according to existing rules under RCW 69.51A.270; home cultivation is prohibited in family day care facilities and foster homes

Property owners retain the right to prohibit cultivation by renters or lessees, and the Liquor and Cannabis Board has no authority to investigate or enforce home cultivation provisions
