Allows trainee real estate appraiser registration periods to be interrupted due to illness or other extenuating circumstances confirmed by a health care provider, in addition to the existing exception for military service

Defines "health care provider" as persons regulated under state health care titles or Chapter 70.127 RCW, or their employees and agents acting within their scope of employment

Authorizes the department to create a form for health care providers to confirm extenuating circumstances

Maintains existing requirements: 2-year initial registration term, maximum of 2 renewals, all must be completed within 7 years of original registration date

Takes effect December 31, 2026
