Amends RCW 43.17.425, 10.93.160, and 43.10.315 to expand cooperation between state/local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities in Washington State

Allows state and local law enforcement agencies to inquire about immigration status, collect related information, and share it with federal authorities when connected to criminal investigations or federal civil immigration enforcement

Permits law enforcement to continue holding individuals in custody based on civil immigration warrants or immigration hold requests, reversing previous restrictions

Removes previous requirements for written consent before federal immigration authorities can interview individuals in state or local custody about immigration matters

Requires the Attorney General to publish updated model policies within 12 months of July 1, 2026, with all state and local law enforcement agencies required to either adopt the guidance or explain their alternative policies
