Allows Washington residents enrolled in federally recognized tribes within the state to voluntarily add a tribal designation to their driver's license, identicard, or driver's instruction permit

Requires the Department of Licensing to develop processes and forms for submitting tribal enrollment documentation when applying for or renewing these identification documents

Mandates consultation with federally recognized tribes in Washington state on implementation, including public education about the availability and benefits of the tribal designation option

Authorizes the department to adopt rules specifying acceptable forms of tribal enrollment documentation and updating existing systems

Takes effect January 1, 2027
