Senate Facilities and Operations Committee receives full authority over contracts and subcontracts requiring Senate appropriations during the interim period between the 2025 Regular Session and the next session, with ability to delegate routine contract authority to the Secretary of the Senate

Secretary of the Senate may authorize travel for members and staff with reimbursement of actual expenses and per diem, and may retain employees at pay rates she determines appropriate, subject to budget controls

Secretary of the Senate is authorized to approve standing committee meetings during the interim (in consultation with Facilities and Operations Committee leadership) and to print copies of the 2025 Senate Journals

Majority Leader may create special committees as necessary and appoint members with approval from the Facilities and Operations Committee

Use of Senate facilities is permitted upon terms determined by the Secretary of the Senate
