Senate Facilities and Operations Committee granted full authority over contracts and subcontracts requiring Senate appropriations expenditures during the interim between the 2026 Regular Session and the next regular session, with ability to delegate routine contract authority to the Secretary of the Senate

Secretary of the Senate authorized to approve member and staff travel with actual necessary expenses and per diem, retain employees at appropriate pay rates, and execute vouchers for legislative expenses

Secretary of the Senate, in consultation with the Facilities and Operations Committee Chair and Ranking Member, may approve standing committee requests to meet during the interim period

Majority Leader authorized to create special committees as necessary and appoint members with Facilities and Operations Committee approval

Secretary of the Senate directed to print the Senate Journals of the 2026 Regular Session and authorized to permit use of Senate facilities on terms she deems proper
