Senate Resolution 8702 honors Senator Judy Warnick for nearly two decades of service in the Washington State Legislature, first elected to the House in 2007 and to the Senate in 2015, representing the 13th Legislative District.

Senator Warnick served as Vice Chair of the Senate Republican Caucus beginning in 2017 and became Chair in 2021, while also chairing the Senate Agriculture, Water & Rural Economic Development Committee since 2015.

Recognition highlights her background growing up on a dairy farm and operating her own small farm and business, which informed her work on agricultural sustainability, water resource management, and rural economic policy.

Awards received include Legislator of the Year from the Association of Washington Business, Cattle Producers of Washington, and Washington State Potato Commission, along with NFIB's Guardian of Small Business and other honors.

Resolution adopted by the Senate on March 11, 2026, with copies directed to be transmitted to Senator Warnick and her family.
