Increases the cap on noneconomic damages in medical malpractice cases from $750,000 to $3,000,000 per occurrence

Applies to acts or omissions by health care providers and their employees occurring after the bill's effective date

The $3,000,000 limit applies to total noneconomic damages from all negligent health care providers combined, including claims from the Injured Patients and Families Compensation Fund

Amends Wisconsin statutes 655.017 and 893.55, which have capped noneconomic damages at $750,000 since April 6, 2006
