Requires all packaged food products containing lab-grown milk (liquid that replicates milk but is not harvested from a mammal) to be labeled with the phrase "lab-grown milk" in type at least as large as any other text on the label with contrasting color

Prohibits restaurants and public eating places from selling food containing lab-grown milk as a milk substitute unless specifically ordered by the customer

Bans serving lab-grown milk products to students, patients, or inmates at state institutions unless ordered by the superintendent for health reasons and directed by a physician

First offense violations carry fines of $100-$500 and/or up to 3 months imprisonment; subsequent offenses carry fines of $500-$1,000 and/or 6 months to 1 year imprisonment

Takes effect January 1, 2027
