Requires the state superintendent to develop a model curriculum on African American history for grades K-12, covering the history, experiences, and contributions of African Americans in the United States and Wisconsin specifically

Mandates all public school boards, independent charter schools, and private schools include African American history instruction consistent with the model curriculum in their social studies curriculum for every grade

Requires teaching license applicants to receive instruction in African American history consistent with the model curriculum, effective 13 months after publication

Appropriates $384,900 in both fiscal years 2025-26 and 2026-27 to fund 3 full-time education consultants at DPI to assist schools with curriculum updates and instruction

Directs the superintendent to collaborate with the African-American/Jewish Friendship Group, Wisconsin Black Historical Society and Museum, America's Black Holocaust Museum, and UW System in developing the curriculum
