Removes state-imposed restrictions on local governments' ability to regulate short-term rentals (such as Airbnb and VRBO properties)

Eliminates the current prohibition preventing cities, villages, towns, and counties from banning rentals of 7 consecutive days or longer

Repeals the 180-day annual minimum that currently prevents local governments from limiting how many days per year a residential property can be rented short-term

Grants full regulatory authority to political subdivisions to set their own short-term rental rules, including potential outright bans
