Former Public Service Commission commissioners are prohibited from working for investor-owned public utilities or transmission companies for 36 months after leaving the commission

The employment ban applies only to positions involving policy making, executive decision-making, operations management, or government relations

Violations are enforced under the state ethics code administered by the Wisconsin Ethics Commission

The prohibition applies retroactively to anyone who left the commission within 12 months before the law takes effect
