Department of Health Services must convene a working group by June 1, 2026 to address statewide coordination of the Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program and improve recipient experiences following changes under Public Law 119-21

Required working group members include representatives from DHS, an aging and disability resource center, a multicounty consortium or tribal governing body administering income maintenance programs, one state legislator, one health care provider, and one Medical Assistance recipient

DHS may appoint additional members as deemed necessary

Working group must submit findings and recommendations to DHS and appropriate legislative standing committees within 7 months of first convening
