Agricultural equipment manufacturers must provide documentation, data, embedded software, firmware, parts, and tools to equipment owners and independent repair providers upon request at fair costs and fair terms

Covered equipment includes combines, tractors, sprayers, and other farm implements, but excludes highway vehicles, aircraft, snowmobiles, watercraft, and irrigation equipment

Manufacturers may protect trade secrets by redacting documentation or withholding component design information, but cannot refuse to provide materials necessary for repairs solely because they claim trade secret status

Contract provisions that waive or limit manufacturer obligations under this law are void and unenforceable for agreements entered into, renewed, or modified after the effective date

Violations subject manufacturers to forfeitures of $100 to $10,000 per violation, and affected parties may recover double their pecuniary loss or $200 per violation plus attorney fees
